Communication B.A., Professional Writing Minor in Multimedia at UC Santa Barbara

As the oldest daughter of Serbian immigrants who speak English as a second language, it was only natural that I go into Communications.

I established myself as the writer and editor of my household from a young age. I would help my parents craft important emails. Edit their texts for grammar. Write birthday cards. These seemingly routine tasks added to my fascination with words and writing.

Over time and through various educational and professional writing and design opportunities, I’ve developed a professional ethos rooted in clarity, concision, and precision.

I thrive under pressure — as lead production editor of my university's newspaper, I have extensive experience working to meet hard deadlines.

I'm a self-motivated perfectionist. I can't help it — I will spend the extra time to ensure that each sentence is perfect and that the fonts match seamlessly.

I have a deep appreciation for strategy — whether it's solving logic-based puzzles, planning a vacation, guessing pit stop windows for an F1 race, or designing a website, I enjoy finding efficient solutions to complex situations.

As I complete my final year at UC Santa Barbara, I’m eager to take what I’ve learned and apply it to the professional world of communication. I’m particularly passionate about the intersection of business and organizational communication and multimedia writing and design, and my goal is to connect with like-minded individuals who share my passion for strategic communication. .
